Guys, listen. My major is International Affairs and my minor is Creative Writing so I spent the better half of yesterday choosing whether or not to e-mail her because I’m lost in the middle of both journeys. I ended up e-mailing her and she asked for my number so she could call me and give me a “substantive response” and I’m crying so much right now because I’ve been stressed out to the point of stress harm about my future and no one has been able to help me at all and she doesn’t even know me and she, someone with things to do and someone with real experience, wants to at least try.

SUPPORT THIS WOMAN, PLEASE!

P.S. She also studied for a semester in France (sure she was in high school, like holy heezus, but still! She’s doing everything I want to do). I had a dream last night that I got some automated response and I was heartbroken and it just occurred to me that maybe that didn’t happen so I checked and she actually asked to speak to me live. You guys I’m losing it.

i think it’s important to address the racist stuff that haim has done including when este and danielle dressed up as caricatures of native american people and when they wore the culturally appropriative dia de los muertos makeup on florence’s tour. i still love them but it’s important to acknowledge when they’ve fucked up and when we shouldn’t defend their actions or reblog posts with that stuff in it in a positive light
